Who is right in this situation and what should I do?

Ok so I have a father who is an alcoholic pain killer addict and who is just a lazy bum. We recently moved into a new home (my grannys, she just recently died) it's like 50 minutes away from my school and well I've been really upset because my dad yells and screams and cusses and is just rude to me and my mom. So today my girlfriend goes out with her friends to go shopping and spend the night and like ive been crying the whole day because im upset so like after 6 hours of crying I finally text her and tell her and she says: "Now I feel bad...thanks. I'm going to turn my phone off for the rest of the night. Just go talk to Jessie." Jessie is my close friend. So anyway I cried even more and I don't think this is fair because when shes all upset and crying and everything I don't care where I am i will call and comfort her. Like almost every time I'm out with friends she will text me crying and everything and this one time i did it. So who is right and what should I do?
